These terms apply to your use of this website, operated by JLC Logistics LLC ("JLC Logistics", "we", "us"), including its pay calculator and application form. By using the site, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. What this website is
This website gives independent owner-operators information about leasing on with JLC Logistics and a way to ask a recruiter to contact them.
- It is not an offer of employment. Owner-operators who lease on work with us as independent contractors, not employees.
- It is not a lease or a contract. A working relationship starts only when you and JLC Logistics sign a written lease agreement that meets federal truth-in-leasing rules (49 CFR Part 376). If anything on this site differs from your signed lease, the lease controls.
2. Pay figures and the calculator
The settlement calculator and the pay figures on this site are examples to help you plan. They are not a promise of what you will earn.
- Your actual gross depends on the freight available, the loads and rates you accept, your lanes, miles, equipment and time on the road.
- Weekly gross ranges describe typical results reported for solo drivers and teams. Individual results vary.
- Our fee, insurance costs, plate costs and any other deductions are set out in your lease agreement and shown on each weekly settlement.
- Sign-on bonuses, quick pay and other programs are subject to eligibility and to the terms explained by your recruiter and written into your lease. We may change or end them at any time before they are part of a signed agreement.
3. Applying through this website
- Give accurate and complete information, and apply only for yourself.
- Submitting the form does not guarantee that we will lease you on. Every applicant goes through our qualification process.
- Before you lease on, we may verify your CDL, driving record, safety history and drug and alcohol testing history. We do this only with the separate written authorizations that federal and state law require.
4. Calls and text messages
By submitting the application, you agree that we may call and text the number you provide about your application and lease-on opportunities. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of leasing on. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
5. Using the site responsibly
You agree not to:
- Submit false information or apply in someone else's name
- Send spam or automated submissions, or try to overload or disrupt the site
- Copy, scrape or reuse the site's content for commercial purposes without our written permission
- Try to access parts of the site or our systems that are not meant for the public
6. Our content
The text, design, logos and other content on this site belong to JLC Logistics or are used with permission or under license. You may view and share pages for your own decision about leasing on. Any other use requires our written permission.
7. Links to other websites
The site may link to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
8. Disclaimers
We work to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but it is provided "as is" and may change without notice. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties about the site, including that it will always be available, error-free or free of harmful components.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, JLC Logistics is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content, including the calculator. This section does not limit any rights you have under a signed lease agreement or under laws that cannot be waived.
10. Responsibility for misuse
If you misuse the site or break these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs, claims and losses this causes JLC Logistics, including reasonable attorney fees.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about this website will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Laramie County, Wyoming, unless the law requires otherwise.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
